This page is intended to highlight and inform you of any news that may emerge from the club. Most news is available or announced in the club message board, however we appreciate not everyone uses this, so any important or messages we feel you may like to know about will appear here. We will also post any significant events and/or announcements from the industry, such as major new coaster launches etc.
Where appropriate we will also provide a link for you to the artice/information. If you havn't used our club message board, information can also be found by clicking the link to the left.
30 October 2009 - IAAPA - Las Vegas 2009!
Nev will be attending the IAAPA Expo in Las Vegas in November. Watch this space and the next AIRtime magazine for a full report of new and exciting innovations from the Theme Park industry.
04 October 2009 - Alton Towers New Coaster
There is a strong possibility there may be an early season trip to Alton Towers early in 2010 for the introduction of their new Coaster. Watch this space nearer the time for information!
24 August 2009 - Las Vegas 2009!
More details about Las Vegas 2009 have been added. With bargain air fares about at the moment, this could br the time to go if you've always wanted to! See the Trips page for details!
19 August 2009 - Meet at The Park!
This is a casual 'meet at the park' event, to help you get a coaster fix in September! Saturday 12th September 2009 at Funland, Hayling Island. See the Trips page for details!
26 July 2009 - Oakwood Add-On!
A discount has been arrange for Heathertons on the Sunday (9th August) following Oakwood's Mega-GLOW-Mania. See the Trips page for details!
20 June 2009 - USA 2010 Update!
Michigan's Adventure will now feature in the USA 2010 trip.
05 June 2009 - Blackpool Bash 2010 dates changed!
Due to operational reasons, we have had move move the Blackpool Bash 2010 back by 1 week. This is now confirmed and will go ahead between Friday 16th April and Sunday 18th April 2010
04 May 2009 - USA 2011 Announced - Shake, Rattler & Roll
First news about the USA 2011 trip has been released. It will be called "Shake, Rattler & Roll". No information is available at this time, but it doesn't need a scientist to work out that Ryan's (one of our club members who LOVES The Rattler in Texas) favorite coaster will be included!
03 May 2009 - USA 2010 Announced - Hot Tracks Tour
First news about the USA 2010 trip has been released. It will be called "Hot Tracks Tour" and be run during July. This is a change to the normal trip dates of June, but should allow more people to attend that have issues with school holiday cover.
Possible parks for this trip will be Six Flags Great America, Indiana Beach, Holiday World, Kings Island and Cedar Point. - A great first trip if you've not been on one before!
18 April 2009 - Blackpool Bash 2010
The theme has been announced for the 2010 Blackpool Bash... it will be "Toga Party", so start planning your outfits!
